TINUBU ARRIVES BRAZIL FOR STATE VISIT

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Brazil for a two-day state visit after departing Yokohama, Japan last Thursday.

He is reportedly in the South American continent for a state visit in Brazil after a stopover in Los Angeles.

President Tinubu began his two-nation visit on Friday, August 15, when he departed Abuja.

He and his entourage stopped over in Dubai, UAE, and arrived in Yokohama early in the morning on August 18.

After attending the opening ceremony and plenary of the ninth Tokyo International Conference for African Development (TICAD9) on August 20, President Tinubu held some bilateral meetings, culminating in the interactive session with diaspora Nigerians.

Tinubu is in Brasilia, Brazil’s capital on the invitation of President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.

While there, he will hold bilateral talks, attend a business forum with Brazilian investors, and witness the signing of cooperation agreements and Memoranda of Understanding between both nations.

He is accompanied by key ministers and senior government officials for the trip.
