PICTURES: GHANAIAN PRESIDENT-ELECT VISIT STATE HOUSE TODAY

The President-Elect of Ghana, His Excellency, John Dramani Mahama, paid a courtesy visit to Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, State House in Abuja on Monday.

Mahama, recently emerged victorious in Ghana’s presidential election with 56 percent of the votes defeating Ghana’s incumbent vice president, Mahamudu Bawumia, putting an end to eight years of leadership under the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

He was warmly received by President Tinubu at this state House together with his wife, Mrs Remi Tinubu.

The courtesy visit provided an opportunity for the two West African leaders to discuss regional cooperation, bilateral relations, and shared challenges within the sub-region.
