Super Eagles and cast away Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen agrees to join Galatasaray football club in Turkey. The deal was made possible due to Turkey’s late transfer deadline of September 13–the deadline for most clubs in Europe is 31st August.
He arrived Turkey in the early hours of Tuesday for medicals and to finalize the contract agreement and was welcomed by the clubs hugely dedicated fan base.
He is set to be paid an estimated €210,000 (£176,000) per week in return for a no loan fee.
His release clause will also be lowered to €75m to create an easier way out if one of his desired clubs come calling in the January transfer window with an option to extend the striker’s contract until 2027 if he is not traded.
Galatasaray do not have the option to sign at the end of the season.
Napoli manager, Antonio Conte has repeatedly said he has no plans to reintegrate the striker if he stayed at the club.
