Network providers under fire for bad network on Protest day

Telecommunication companies have come under fire for poor network on Thursday, the first day for the #EndBadGovernance Protest. Netizens have also accused the federal government of conniving with the network providers to restrict internet access during the protest.

@Unkle Ayo posted: “since the govt is colliding with TELCOs to restrict internet access, we already know what’s next up their sleeves”.

@Choji_ES: “All of a sudden, MTN network is very poor and week as erection. Nigerian Government you can do better. All this cheap shenanigans will only make things worse.”

@sunnyjoflife: “All of a sudden MTN Network is not working properly on 1st of August. This people know what they’re doing.”

Remember that some users were barred from using their lines on Sunday by the major network providers. This forced large numbers of people to their offices nationwide. MTN had even announced closure of all its offices from July 31st. Now, users of the major network providers, MTN, Airtel, 9Mobile and Glo are complaining of bad service.
