The Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, has announced his defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Fubara made the announcement at a stakeholders’ meeting at the Government House in Port Harcourt on Tuesday.
Fubara’s defection comes hours after he reportedly held a closed-door meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the State House, Abuja.
