Key Responsibilities:

• Research, investigate, and report on news stories across various beats, including politics, business, human interest, and more.
• Conduct interviews with sources, experts, and public figures to gather firsthand information.
• Write clear, engaging, and well-structured articles that align with Fairview Africa’s journalistic standards.
• Cover live events, press conferences, and breaking news as needed.
• Collaborate with editors, photographers, and social media teams to enhance news coverage.
• Verify facts, cross-check sources, and ensure accuracy in all reports.
• Adapt content for digital platforms, including social media, video, and podcasts.

Requirements:

• A degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in journalism, reporting, or media (fresh graduates with strong portfolios may apply).
• Strong writing, editing, and research skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
