German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier arrived in Nigeria on Tuesday night for a three-day state visit. He landed at the presidential wing of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, where he was welcomed by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike. During his visit, Steinmeier is set to meet with President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday, as well as with Alieu Omar Touray, the President of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Commission, among other officials.
