GANDUJE RESUMES ROLE AS CHAIRMAN OF BOARD OF FAAN

The Former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, has been inaugurated as the Chairman of the Board of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).

The development follows the formal inauguration of the reconstituted boards of several aviation agencies, including the newly appointed FAAN board members in Abuja on Wednesday by the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo.

The formal inauguration of the board follows the earlier appointment in January 2025 by President Bola Tinubu.

Remember that Ganduje had recently stepped down from his role as the APC National Chairman, citing health reasons.

His resignation came amid strong speculations that President Bola Tinubu is working behind the scenes to bring Ganduje’s longtime rival, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, into the APC fold ahead of the 2027 general elections.

It is safe to say that the health challenges that prompted his resignation from the APC chairmanship position would not affect his new appointment as the Chairman of the board of FAAN.
