FG APPROVE DIVISION OF COLLEGE OF AVIATION INTO 6 CAMPUSES

The Federal government of Nigeria under President Bola Tinubu has approved the division of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria, Kaduna State, to spread round the six geopolitical zones to enhance efficiency, ensure national coverage, and improve operations.

This was disclosed by the Ondo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Wednesday through its official X handle.

“President Bola Tinubu has decided to split the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria–Kaduna State, into six campuses to ensure efficiency, national coverage, and smooth operations,” the APC Ondo chapter posted.

The new campuses will be strategically distributed across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones.

According to the announcement, the campuses will be located in:

Akure (Southwest);

Osubi (South-South);

Ebonyi (Southeast);

Ilorin (North Central);

Yola (Northeast); and

Zaria (Northwest).

The Nigerian College of Aviation Technology has been a key institution for training aviation professionals in the country.

The development is a welcome one as Stakeholders anticipate that the expansion into multiple campuses will boost the training of skilled personnel, foster regional inclusion, and strengthen Nigeria’s aviation sector.
