Nigeria’s Central Bank (CBN) has granted operating licenses to 82 Bureau de change operators effective from November 27th 2025.
The notice was announced on Monday, December 8, 2025, on the Bank’s website and signed by the Director Corporate Communications, Mrs Hakama Sidi Ali.
The CBN said it will continue to update the list of Bureau de change operators with valid licenses on the website for public verification.
They advised the public to be guided as operating a BDC business without a valid license is a punishable offence.
