New reports confirm that the speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, has been impeached for gross misconduct and abuse of office.
This was confirmed by the TVC Media, in a post via X, on Monday.
The online report also states that the lawmaker representing Apapa Constituency I in the Lagos House of Assembly, Hon. Moji Ojora, has become the new speaker following Obasa’s impeachment.
