Award-winning Nigerian gospel singer, Moses Bliss, has opened up about how he met his wife, Marie, revealing that their love story began through a simple dance video on Instagram.
Speaking during an interview with Rev. Kathy Kiuna, the gospel star recounted how his attention was drawn to Marie after she danced to one of his hit songs and tagged him in her post.
According to the “Too Faithful” crooner, he was immediately intrigued and decided to take a bold step.
He said, “We met on Instagram, and she danced to my song. That year, I was really looking. If anybody tagged me, I’d go and check. As I was checking, I was also consulting the Spirit, asking the Holy Ghost, ‘What are you saying?’”
Bliss explained that after watching the video several times, he felt a deep sense of connection and conviction. He then decided to send her a direct message and included his phone number as a show of interest.
He continued, “I liked the dance, and to register my interest, I dropped my number. I’m not scared of anybody. If I like you, I’ll message you. I’m very bold.”
The gospel singer added that what struck him most was Marie’s respectful and calm reaction.
“She respectfully requested we keep the conversation on Instagram,” he said, noting that her poise and humility left a lasting impression on him.
