In addition to financial aid, Aliyu revealed that the state government has completed the remodeling and reconstruction of three Jumu’at Mosques, with more than 30 others currently undergoing similar work.
Governor Aliyu reiterated that these efforts are part of his administration’s 9-point smart agenda, which focuses on enhancing the welfare of the people, strengthening religious institutions, and fostering peace and prosperity within Sokoto State.
The governor called on religious leaders and residents to continue supporting the government’s initiatives, especially in overcoming security challenges, and encouraged the people of Sokoto to uphold unity, righteousness, and justice throughout Ramadan. He concluded by wishing all a peaceful and blessed Ramadan.
