The President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Joe Ajaero has been arrested on Monday morning at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, when Ajaero was about to board a flight to the United Kingdom .
The NLC President was scheduled to attend a Trade Union Congress (TUC) conference in the UK, set to take place today.
Joe Ajaero has recently under the scrutiny of security operatives as he Ajaero was recently summoned and interrogated by the Intelligence Response Team (IRT) of the Nigerian Police Force over allegations of criminal conspiracy, terrorism financing, treasonable felony, subversion, and cybercrime.
