Former presidential aspirant Kingsley Moghalu has stated that stepping away from Nigerian politics was the best choice he has ever made.
In a post on his verified X handle, Moghalu attributed his decision to a combination of personal fulfillment, family priorities, and a deep disillusionment with the country’s political system.
Moghalu served as deputy governor of financial system stability and the director of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) from 2009 to 2014.
In 2019 he was presidential candidate for the 2019 presidential elections under Young Progressive Party (YPP)
