The All Progressives Congress (APC) has rejected a social media document falsely claiming that notorious terrorist Mohammed Bello Turji is a registered party member.
In a statement released today, APC National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka described the membership slip as a “fabrication” with no connection to the party’s official membership records.
The fraudulent document alleged that Turji was registered in Ward 13 of Shinkafi Local Government, Zamfara State, as part of the ongoing APC Electronic Registration and Validation Exercise. Morka clarified that “Ward 13” does not exist in the area.
“The digital parameters on the fake slip bear no connection to our Party’s membership register,” Morka said, urging the public to disregard the document and dismiss attempts to tarnish the party’s image.
The APC also reminded citizens to rely solely on official channels for information regarding its membership activities.
