News reports just arrived that 14 inmates have reportedly escaped from the Keffi Correctional Centre in Keffi, Nasarawa State.
The incident comes nearly six years after a similar disturbance at the facility, where in August 2019, 50 inmates attempted a mass jailbreak over alleged poor food and medical care.
According to reports from Sahara Reporters, a prison source confirmed that, “There has been a jailbreak in Keffi Prison and 14 prisoners escaped.”
